wevDAV Clients

Connect to a webDAV share and navigate the contents, including modifying files if authorised by login privileges.

The examples are based upon those in recipe webDAV Server.


Browser (read-only access)

This simple navigation allows accessible files to be downloaded.

In your favorite browser:

  1. Browse to the share location e.g. https://docs.geddy.au/shared/;
  2. In login popup, enter username (e.g. fred.nerk) and password.

Windows 11 File Explorer

**untested!!**

In the File Explorer on your Windows box:

  1. Enter the share location in the address field e.g. \\docs.geddy.au\shared\;
  2. In login popup, enter username (e.g. fred.nerk) and password.

macOS Finder

In the Finder on your Mac:

  1. In menubar, select Go > Connect to Server;
  2. Enter the share location in the Server Address field e.g. https://docs.geddy.au/shared/;
  3. Click Connect;
  4. In login popup, enter username (e.g. fred.nerk) and password.
